Edvard Munch's letter to WillumsenDid you know that your cellphone could be very useful during a visit to the Munch Museum? Logg on our free WiFi called “Munch-museet” and download our Munch Audio Guide before you enter the exhibition. We really appreciate if you send a message on Twitter to @themunchmuseum, or simply use the hashtag #munchmuseet by sharing experiences from your visit. Maybe you wish to share an image of your own rubbing, made at home or hanging on the museum walls? Feel free to share with us through Twitter or Facebook. When the Munch Museum open up for moderne media, it is quite in Edvard Munch’s spirit, being an innovative and modern artist. During last year’s exhibition eMunch.no – Text and Image, we even discovered a handwritten note by Edvard Munch, in which he imagines how a cellphone would have made life much easier to the busy artist, preoccupied not only in finishing his art works, but also managing international exhibitions, transport and logistics. Translations of this note is ongoing but will be updated at eMunch.no
