We are happy to introduce a new Museum Blog from the Munch Museum.

The Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway, preserves not just the artist’s paintings, prints and drawings, but Edvard Munch’s private library, his letters, postcards, diaries and sketchbooks – all in all immense artistic material it could take a lifetime to get to the depth of. We invite you to explore some of it through regular insights in this blog.

Munchblog intends to provide not just a glimpse behind the scene, but a place to tell the stories that did not make it to the exhibition. We have strong belief in the outreach of video, and through this medium we will invite our museum professionals to share inside material within research, conservation, curation, development and publications. Munchblog will provide exclusives, behind the scenes, rare and fun stuff about Edvard Munch and his art both for youngsters and scholars.

Enjoy and share with your friends and colleagues.
